After 5 years teaching Psychology A Level at a 6th Form College in Warrington, I came to Spain in 1986 with my Spanish wife, a five month old baby, a dog and a cat.

After a couple of predictable jobs teaching english I joined Lookout Magazine and was there for seven years, the last four of which I spent as their Advertising Manager.

In 1994 I started Arte Publica Comunicacin Integral with a Spanish partner and in 1999, launched Advent Communication.

Advent is a full service advertising and design agency with a strong marketing bias. We work with clients to develop their business working above and below the line as well as, more recently, online!

Our clients are a mix of Spanish and foreign businesses. Most of our design work is undertaken for clients in the immediate Costa del Sol area although a growing number now come from further afield.

We are particularly proud of the long standing relationships we enjoy with many clients and I find it personally satisfying to see that I still work with a number of clients from my Lookout days.

I am still married –- the five month old is now 21, and has two brothers, 19 and 12.
